Here's a bit about me in case you, gentle reader, are curious.

{Creating} I began exploring digital design in 2001 - beginning with signatures for online message boards - animations - and then to my joy discovered digital scrapbooking! I have dabbled with DIP, & 'Picture It' but my trusty designing standbys are PSP and PS. I prefer not to pigeonhole myself as a designer of one specific 'style' so my products range from vintage to whimsical. I also enjoy creating tangible art and decor for my home: Creating custom chandeliers in my basement studio is a nice break from the computer. I also enjoy 'shabbifying' ordinary items like books and frames and exploring the realm of 'altered art.'

{Mothering} I am the proud mother of 3 1/2 year old twins who keep me on my toes but also who are a huge source of inspiration. Nothing helps a creating block more than looking at things through the eyes of a child!

{Zookeeping} I am a HUGE softie when it comes to animals. (I even let the spiders out of my house rather than smooshing them!) I have 2 very slobbery but endearing basset hounds named Bailey and Kahlua - a Ragdoll cat named 'Paws' (who was intended to be named 'Captain Morgan' but the kids just didn't understand my desire to continue the theme). We have Ichabod the fish but he usually gets called 'that darned fish' - especially when I have to clean his tank after the kids dump the entire contents of the fish food container in his tank. I'm sure the 'mommy, I want a pony' thing is not far off and I've already resigned myself to the fact that I just can't say no when it comes to animals.

{Nursing} My mild-mannered alter-ego is a pediatric nurse. Yes, I know...a very 'left brained' activity but I think it tends to balance me out. At the hospital when I'm doing that nursin' thing my co-workers would probably say that I'm a perfectionist - bordering on OCD and a bit manic. I just like to think of it as being efficient and pride myself in taking the utmost care when I'm nursing somebody's loved one.

{Quirking} My quirks and what makes me tick: I LOVE coffee. I usually end up making my own at home (though I have a thing for Starbucks sugar-free hazelnut latte) but I have a weak spot for buying every single flavor of coffee syrups ever created. (www.davincigourmet.com). I love to crochet - usually my projects are baby afghans for expecting friends/family. I also have an absolutely adolescent adoration for Orlando Bloom...I can only justify this because I loved him BEFORE he became so popular with the 'teeny boppers.' (OY! I sound like my mother!). I’m a die-hard Notre Dame fan (my kids already know all the player’s names and the ND fight song…so it’s just in the blood!)
